Boulevard of Flag pics

Here are my Blvd of Flag pics from July 4th.  I also have pics of Cricut plushie in front of the Olympic Torch.

Cricut Pennant Contest entry for Ohio trip

Cricut had a pennant contest for the Ohio trip.  You had to use the Birthday Bash cartridge and use pages 58-71 pennants.  I picked the pennant shaped like the State of Ohio Flag and decorated the background to match the State of Ohio Flag.  I did take a liberty in using red star paper instead of just red paper for the red stripes.  I decorated the pennant with rows of flags and the olympic torch in honor of the Boulevard of Flags in Eastlake, Oh.  The Boulevard of Flags honors all Eastlake residents who have served our country with a Flag.  It is a cool place to visit.  They also have the Olympic torch there from when it came through Eastlake and burns eternally.  They have also included items to remember the 9/11 incidents.  I took pics from my trip there on July 4th.  Please see below.  It was very cool to walk into the Ohio Cricut Meetup and see my pennant on the wall.

Patriotic cards using punches and cuttlebug

Hi All.  I designed these cards for the Cards for Soldiers-red,white and blue theme.  The paper is from Joann's and very cool.  The sayings are from Cuttlebug.  I used the Martha Stewart starbust punch for the light blue star burst and the red star border punch is EK Success.  The red star in the blue starburst is recycled from the red star border punch and has a glue dot behind it.  So reuse your scraps from your punches.  I also added a few clear gems on the red star border for some added bling.  Thanks for stopping by.

Father's Day Cards using Nifty Fifties cartridge

Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there.  I came up with this design since my father is into 50's and 60's cars.  My Dad has alaways been there for me and I wanted to make him a card he would enjoy.  On this card I used silver metallic paper on the headlights and behind the stamp for that chrome look.  I also pop dotted the headlights so they would stand out.  TFL.

Card for Claire-4/17/11 using wrapping paper background

This card was made for Claire, my stepson's fiance.  Her favorite colors are fushia/pink and black so I found this great wrapping paper at Hallmark and knew it was just what I needed for her card.  I just love this birthday stamp, also perfect for this card.  Claire is starting to make cards so I got her pastel cardstock, tape runners and a gift certificate to Pat Catans.  Claire had a Hawaiin themed birthday party and it was a good time.

Princess Paper Doll Birthday Card

Hi again!
Two posts in one day, I am on a roll!  Here is a pic of the card I made for my 2nd cousin Olivia who turned 7 yrs old last week (and my flower girl in my wedding 4 1/2 years ago).  She is a sweetheart and I couldn't resist making this card for her.  I used the Cricut Paper Doll cartridge for all of the images and cut out a 4.5 inch person and used cream cardstock 5x7".  The castle was cut at 5 inches also.  The dress is the wedding dress and was cut out of pink glitter paper using the heavy duty blue cricket blade.  The shoes and staff were also cut out of the pink glitter paper.  I used glue dots on the princess so she can be removed for playtime.  I also cut extra outfits for the princess and stored them in a pocket on the inside of the card.  TFL.

CFS-Chocolate Easter Bunnies and more Mother's Day Cards

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post my Chocolate Easter Bunny cards that I made using the Cricut Easter cartridge.  All images were cut from this cartridge-large frilly egg, yellow inside egg, chocolate bunny, bow and small easter egg.  The Happy Easter stamp is from Pink by Design.  I also attached more butterfly Mother's Day Cards in yellow and orange.  I used the cuttlebug Butterflies embossing and die folders.  I hope you like them.
