Tim Holtz Christmas Box 2013

Hi Everyone!

Here is a Christmas Box I made for my Mom using Bo Bunny paper and embellishmenys.  I also used red tinsel trim from Tim Holtz around the top of the box and used The TH 12 Tags of 2013-December Frosted Film and Clearly for Plastic technique on the Poinsettia.  Love this technique and will use again.  Now for the pics:

  

DH 50 Birthday Decorations

Hi Everyone,

Since I never did post pics for the 50th Birthday Party, Here they are!  I wanted to thank my Cricut Circlette friends that shared ideas with me to create these goodies!  DH loved his party and had lots of fun!  Went by way to quickly though. 

I used the Handy Man and Paper Dolls cartridges to make most of the decorations.  Most were cut at either 3 or 4 inches.  I attached my tools to black and white straws with pop dots.  I pop dotted the straws to the sides of the red, yellow and orange 99 cent pails I bought at Party City since the party was outdoors.

I saw something similiar on Pinterest to buy! I made it from a 5 gallon pail lid, white cloth rags pinned in back, Scotts Paper Shop Towel Roll and small tools.  I added the 50th bday caution tape to the outside.  DH took apart and is using all the goodies!   

Paint Bucket decoration made using Handy Man Cartridge.  Cut two tool belts and attached with pop dots and added small tools in pockets,  The big tools were cut at 4 inches and pop dotted to black/white stripped straws.  This is the only decoration I kep intact and will use at other parties. 

Love how it turned out!  DH loved it!

12 Goodies of Xmas Swap-Days 1 & 2

Hi Everyone and HOHOHO!,

I received some very nice gifts for Days 1 and 2.  On Day 2, I received two copic markers!  Yeah!  My favorite gift was today for Day 1 (sadly the last day of the swap)!  I received a hand-made chipboard/box filled with goodies from Misawasan.  I just love it! The box has a TH knob on it with a magnetic closurer.  The box had three lovely hand-made cards inside.  It also had a marvy white pen and Tim Holtz goodies-(my favorite) mini gears and wooden rulers!   Here are the pics!

Christmas Cards for 2013

Hi Everyone,

Here are some simple Christmas cards I made for this year since I need to send out about 35 cards.  I used the Teresa Collins -Dec 25th cartridge for the Santa and sleigh.  The Merry Christmas and Oh Christmas Tree embellishments are from Me and My  Big Ideas Card  pack.  Noel was cut from the Anna Griffith Winter Wonderland cartridge and I used a Martha Stewart punch on the bottom border.

Cricut Secret Stocking Swap-what I sent

Hi Everyone,

My secret swap partner was JoyJo!  I had so much fun making items fo JoyJo!  I made her a christmas charm out of blue beads and christmas bells and charms.  It has a white snowman bell on the middle charm.  I found this at Pat Catans and got the last two packs.  I also made a christmas wallet with Joy on the front.  I found this wallet on You Tube of course and only takes an afternoon.  My card to JoyJo feature Bear Clause from Teddy Bear Parade.  It also has a wooden JOY embellishment that I painted with Green Martha Stewart Pearl Paint and used Icicle Stickles on it.  I also used lots of Icicle Stickles on Bear Clause.  Here are the pics of the swap items.

Cricut Secret Stocking Swap-Opening stocking

12 Days of Goodies Swap-Swap Partner

Hi All,
I mailed my swap box back on Dec. 2nd and here are some pics of the packaging.  KittyScraps had to check out the box before mailing.  Irishdancer is my Swap Partner.  I painted my tags with Martha Stewart Pearl Paint-Aquamarine, Festive Berries and Pearl.  I used the Cricut Everyday Cartridge for the tag numbers and added red or blue baker's twine to the tags.  For the card I used the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge for the Santa Bear.  I used Diamond stickles on the white areas of the santa.  I painted the wooden christmas tree with Martha Stewart  Grass Green pearl paint and also used Diamond stickles on it.
