Cricut Fall Mini Swap 2013

Hi Everyone! My swap partner was Ms. Chewie. I just wanted to Thank Ms. Chewie for my Halloween Mini album and all of the terrific goodies! It looks like Ms. Chewie used the Recollections paper line of Haunted. Ms. Chewie used lots of bling, washi tape, sticks, bats and ghosts with googly eyes, and Tim Holtz Blue Print stamps with glitter. My favorite are the Tim Holtz blue print stamps and the stamp of the Gray Cat and the pumpkin at the end of the book. She also has Halloween pocket tags inside each page. I love them. Here are the pics.

Cricut Swap-er-tunity-Christmas Recipe Box

Front of Box.  Polar Bear was embossed with Divine Swirls.
Hi Everyone! I wanted to share the recipe box and recipe card that I created for the Cricut Swap. This was a great swap hosted by Sis. Here are pictures of the recipe box I sent to Misawasan.

Back of Box

Side of Box-Snowflake from Artiste-pg 79

Front of Box-Polar Bear and Penguin from Animal Kingdom-pgs 113-114.   Snowman is from Winter Frolic-pg 30

Inside of box-christmas tag from October Afternoon

Bottom of Recipe Box-Wooden feet added and painted.  Mod Poged bottom of box to protect it.

Card I made to go with the recipe box.  Used a tag from My Mind's Eye-All is Bright paperline 2013.
I bought a chipboard recipe box from Hobby Lobby for $3.99.  I used Martha Stewart Pearl Paint-Aquamarine to paint the recipe box.  I love this paint.  So glossy!   I used the paperline from My Mind's Eye-All is Bright 2013 for the entire recipe box and card.  I absolutely love this paper!  I edged all of the papers with Tim Holtz-Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I also used Tim Holtz Distress Stickles Dry Glitter-Clear Rock Candy on the white paper on the snowflakes.  I also added a blue glitter brad to the center of each snowflake.  I used the Swiss dots embossing folder on the snowmen  and Divine Swirls on the polar bears.  The recipe box is such a great Christmas present.  Hopefully I will have time to make a few for Christmas!  I hope you liked my project.  See you next time!  E-

Great Uncle Ernie's 92nd Birthday Card

Here is Uncle Ernie's 92nd Birthday Card!  I used Every Day Pop-Up Cards for the tractor.  I used Every Day Paper Dolls for the Sun and Clouds.  I inked the blue background, grass, clouds. sun and party banner with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Vintage Photo.  I used Martha Stewart fringe scissors to make the grass.  I added the Martha Stewart Party banner to the tractor.  The tractor was double pop dotted to go over the folded down grass.  To the front of the card I also added the wobbler mushroom and ladybug from Martha Stewart Gnomes and Woodland Stickers. On the inside of the card I added the tractor pop-up.  This was a much easier pop-up than the elephant was.  Only took a minute to figure out the pop up.  Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!  E

College Graduation Card for DSD

Since my DSD is a music major, I used black music paper from The Paper Studio and layered with white music note paper from Scrappin Sports and More.  I also added music note embellishments-I think Jolee's.
I cut a 3 1/2" black square and added a brad in the center with the Jolee's white tassel which I trimmed to fit the card.  I stamped Congratuations Graduate and added a black 1/4" background to it.  I added red flowers from Jolee also.  The card needed some color.

And Here is the Graduate of the Music School below in front of the infamous college fountain.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked my card.

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2013-July

Above is Tim's tag for July.

Here is my tag.  Loved using the distress crackle paint.  I did not have Tim's flag die so I used a die cut from the Stand and Salute cartridge.  The stars are from the Teresa Collins cartridge-Sophisticated.
Thanks for stopping by!

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2013-June

Above is Tim's tag for June.  Love the watercoloring technique with the distress pens.

Here is my tag.  I didn't have Tim's dragonfly stamp so I used my InkaDinkaDoo stamp.  This stamp is so cool with the 3 bird designs inside of it. The rest of the stamps are Tim's except for the clock hands going down the left side of the tag.    Next time I will use less paint on the tag and more ink and stain.  My china blue paint kind of took over and it was watered down.  Well live and learn.  I do like the blue color though.  Looking forward to the July tag!
